Alive and just in time for the ferry!The ticket vendor doesn't trust his price list and it takes him endless phone calls to make sure that bicycles only cost 3€. Finally we arrive on the ferry, find a quiet place, unroll our sleeping bags and mats and feel very happy. Unfortunaly a sailor starts to clean the deck in the middle of the night, it doesn't help too much that he skips our place, we get quite wet :( Thats why we look for a lonely place in Valetta after we arrived for the rest of the night.
Now we can go slow and we use the time to visit some places on Malta. Our guidebook says that camping somewhere on Malta is almost impossible - we proove it wrong as we find lots of great, lonely places. With some help of a maltese walking his dog... We chose one with a great view back to Valetta and lots of fireworks. We were already surprised about all the fireworks during daytime - you can only see smoke... During night it is great.
The next day we arrive in Marsalforn where we are going to work for the next two months asscuba instructors at Nautic Team Gozo.
